InoBat Announces MOU with Analog Devices to Explore i-Power+, an Intelligent Battery Storage Platform for AI Data Centers

The joint effort pairs InoBat’s battery technology with ADI’s intelligent battery management and edge/cloud AI to target hyperscale and utility-scale energy storage applications.

  • InoBat and ADI have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the joint development of i-Power+, an intelligent battery energy storage system (BESS) platform.
  • The companies will begin a prototyping pilot on an LFP-based battery container from October 2026, engaging potential customers to validate performance and provide early access to a minimum viable product (MVP).
  • i-Power+ combines InoBat’s battery chemistry and BESS technology with ADI’s wireless battery management and edge/cloud AI capabilities, targeting hyperscale data centers, AI infrastructure and utility-scale commercial & industrial applications.

Voderady, Slovakia, 16th October 2026 – InoBat today announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) to explore the joint development of i-Power+, an intelligent battery energy storage system (BESS) platform designed for the rising power demands of AI data centers, hyperscale computing and utility-scale energy storage.

The companies will begin working together through pilot activities at ADI Catalyst, a state-of-the-art innovation accelerator based in Limerick, Ireland where customers, business partners and suppliers work with ADI experts to rapidly develop, test and pilot industry-leading solutions. Within this phase, InoBat and ADI will define the system architecture for i-Power+, select co-development partners and key suppliers, and deliver a prototype of an intelligent LFP BESS platform.

The prototype will incorporate a wireless battery management system (wBMS) that eliminates cell-to-Battery Management Unit wiring, together with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)-based diagnostics and anomaly-detection algorithms designed to extend battery cycle life and improve state-of-health and state-of-charge accuracy.

As a further goal of their joint efforts, the companies intend to apply an intelligent architecture to sodium-ion BESS technology. This is designed to provide cell-level voltage, temperature and EIS resolution, together with advanced diagnostics for sodium-ion-specific degradation detection.

Marián Boček, Chief Executive Officer of InoBat, said: “AI data centers and hyperscale computing are redefining what the grid and energy storage need to deliver — speed, intelligence and reliability at a scale we haven’t seen before. Combining InoBat’s battery technology with ADI’s intelligence and edge/cloud AI capabilities is a natural step toward building the power platform this industry actually needs, and we are pleased to take this first step together with ADI.”

Martin Cotter, Chief Business Units Officer and President of ADI, EMEA said: “As AI reshapes global energy demand, intelligent battery storage will be critical to delivering power safely, efficiently and reliably. By working with InoBat, ADI is bringing predictive intelligence closer to the edge to help accelerate the next generation of energy infrastructure.”
