Katarina Pies

Director of Shared Services

Katarína is an experienced people and shared services leader who currently oversees core company functions, including HR, HSE, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), ESG, Compliance, IT & ERP business systems, Indirect Procurement, and General Services. She is also actively involved in the EduBat initiative as Leader for Universities and Vocational Education.

She is a seasoned HR and operations professional with a career spanning 15+ years in human resources, leadership, and business operations. Before InoBat, she spent nine years leading the Slovak subsidiary of a Belgian logistics group, with full responsibility for HR and day-to-day business operations such as finance, stakeholder management, and public affairs. Her experience spans transportation and manufacturing within the construction sector, supporting complex, operationally driven organizations.

Katarína has successfully managed a wide range of HR initiatives and projects in dynamic environments, combining a hands-on approach with a strong understanding of both people and business needs.

Katarína holds a Master’s degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Business Management, with a specialization in Personnel Management.
